The Department of Mechanical Engineering is offering the following degree programs:

Undergraduate Programs

  • Degree Awarded:BE ME (Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering)
    Duration: : 4 years
    Credit Hrs: 136
    Major Areas of Study:Keeping in view contemporary industry demands, DMAE has adopted the following main streams for its BE Mechanical Engineering program:
    • -Solid Mechanics and Design
    • -Thermofluids
    • -Manufacturing
    Eligibility:

    • Applicants should have at least 60% marks in F.Sc. A-Level or equivalent:

      • -Must pass the entry test
      • -Qualify in the interview

    • Graduate Programs

  • Degree Awarded:MS ME (Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering)
    Duration: : 2 years
    Credit Hrs: 31
    Specialzation Offered:Keeping in view contemporary industry demands, DMAE has adopted the following main streams for its BE Mechanical Engineering program:
    • -Design Engineering
    • -Fluid Power Engineering
     Eligibility:

    • -Minimum 60% or 2.50/4.00 GPA in BE/BSc (Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, Chemical)

    • -GRE (General) /GAT conducted by NTS (min 50%)

  • Degree Awarded:MS AE (Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering)
    Duration: : 2 years
    Credit Hrs: 31
    Specialzation Offered:Keeping in view contemporary industry demands, DMAE has adopted the following main streams for its BE Mechanical Engineering program:
    • -Solid Mechanics
    • -Fluid Dynamic
    • -Aerospace Vehicle Design
    • -Propulsion
    • -Flight Dynamics and Control
    • -Astronautics and Space Engineering
    Eligibility:

    • -Minimum 60% or 2.50/4.00 GPA in BE/BSc (Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, Chemical)

    • -GRE (General) /GAT conducted by NTS (min 50%)

  • Degree Awarded:PhD ME (Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering)
    Duration: :Maximum 04 years after MS (Extendable by two years)
    Credit Hrs:48 (18 Credit Hours of Course work, 30 Credit Hours of dissertation work)
    Eligibility:

    • -MS/MPhil/equivalent degree in the relevant field meeting 30 Credit Hours with a CGPA of at least 3.00 (on the scale of 4.00) or first division in annual system

    • -Passing GRE (subject) or GAT (subject) by NTS with at least 60% mark

  • Degree Awarded:PhD AE (Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering)
    Duration: :Maximum 04 years after MS (Extendable by two years)
    Credit Hrs:48 (18 Credit Hours of Course work, 30 Credit Hours of dissertation work)
