The department of psychology intends to enhance the understanding of behavioral and cognitive processes pertaining to the complex human psyche through the strategic solutions to both individual and societal problems. With the underlying objectives, the department offers the professional degree programs at undergraduate and graduate level with the titles of BS Psychology, MS Clinical Psychology.

Mission: The mission of the Psychology Department is to provide an excellent education for the undergraduate and graduate students who take our courses, taught by dynamic faculty who are also active in their fields. It prepares the students to serve in a variety of fields such as education, hospitals, research, armed forces, special services and NGOs. The department integrates undergraduate and graduate education, research, and service activities to advance the overall mission of the university.
