On 20th February, 2025-The department of Humanities and Education at Air University, Islamabad had the privilege of hosting an engaging and informative session with Teach for Pakistan, a non-profit organization committed to bridging the educational gap in the country. Mr. Muhammad Saad Afzal, Senior Associate, Recruitment, Selection & Matriculation at Teach for Pakistan led the session.

Mr. Afzal introduced students to the organization’s dynamic one-year, well-paid fellowship program, designed to empower young professionals and graduates to make a real difference in underprivileged schools. He shared how the program provides valuable teaching experience and develops leadership and problem-solving skills, making it a transformative journey for those passionate about education.

Students learned the application process, eligibility criteria, and the numerous benefits of the fellowship. Mr. Afzal encouraged participants to step forward and take part in this initiative, highlighting the impact they could have on shaping the future of Pakistan’s education system while also gaining significant professional growth.

The session concluded with a lively Q&A discussion, where students asked insightful questions about the selection process and career prospects beyond the fellowship. The enthusiasm in the room was evident as many attendees expressed keen interest in applying.

With the application deadline approaching in early March 2025, students were encouraged to apply soon to seize this meaningful opportunity. The session left a lasting impression, inspiring many to consider the fellowship as a path toward creating positive change in the education sector.
