Waqas Ahmed, the CEO of American Telephysicians, recently visited the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Air University. During his visit, he had the opportunity to explore the various medical devices and the innovative HealthPod designed by the university's biomedical department. This visit signifies a potential collaboration aimed at advancing healthcare technology and expanding access to medical solutions.

Akhuwat Foundation came to Air University to talk about selling HEALTHPOD and some other medical gadgets like heart monitors, pulse sensors, and digital stethoscopes. Adil Rauf, who's in charge of marketing and fundraising for Akhuwat, and his team visited the Biomedical Department to see these devices. They want to work together to make these medical tools available to more people, so everyone can have better access to healthcare.

The Air university protocol team organized an event in which the students from all the departments visited Fazaia Medical college Rawalpindi to give students awareness about respective field , the students of biomedical department also participated in it and gave students motivation to be a Biomedical Engineer(Its benefits and scope).



The students from 7th and 5th semester proposed their project protype as 3D model on blender software to draw visualization of their project.


The Writers Club of Air University Organized an event on Iqbal Day , students from all the departments participated and the one who scored first prize is Amir Shehzad from BME semester 1.

In order to appreciate the efforts of teachers, this seminar was organized.

It was an opening ceremony of the medical Engineering design club at Biomedical department of Air University. This Club is designed for engaging students in both extracurricular activities along with the designing of medical devices.



The department of Biomedical Engineering at AU took part in ICCI EXPO at Pak China Friendship center. Chair department ,faculty and students attend 3 days Expo to commercialize the product that is designed by a Student of Biomedical department at Air University.

The team of Nust visited the Biomedical department for reviewing the progress of their funded project.

Our guest speakers were Dr Murtaza Najabat Ali who is associate professor at Biomedical Engineering department(SMME) and Nida Ali ,a managing Director Kounter Intuitive Technologies.
