Responsibilities of P&D Department
  • 1. Assessing the present and future needs of the University including the physical, capital and human resource needs of the University.
  • 2. Preparation of the Development Plans, Projects and Schemes.
  • 3. Preparation of viable projects for academic and physical growth and expansion of the University.
  • 4. Seeking and securing funds for the projects.
  • 5. Formulation of the annual work plan and cash plan, as per the requirement of the University and concerned bodies.
  • 6. Implementation of major development projects and programs.
  • 7. Preparation and submission of reports to the Sponsoring bodies.
  • 8. Coordination with the Planning Commission and HEC with a view to speeding up the execution of the approved projects.
  • 9. The compilation of the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP).
  • 10. Any other functions assigned by the Vice-Chancellor.
